St. Dominic Cares After School Program is a service to our parents which provides well-supervised, after-school activities for children in grades Pre-K through 8. The program focuses on creative play, physical activity, and homework time. The goal is to alleviate the pressure of single parents, or of both parents working outside the home.

ACTIVITIES: The program, which is coordinated, supervised, and presented by qualified personnel, provides a variety of activities. The children can do homework, enjoy puzzles or games, play computer games (limited time), or have a period of physical activity in the schoolyard if weather permits. The program emphasis is on safety, fun, socialization, and building friendships. Please provide a snack and a drink for your child to have during Aftercare.

BEHAVIOR: Appropriate behavior is essential for the safety and well-being of all the children. If the behavior code is not followed, parents will be notified, and dismissal from the program may follow.

PROCEDURES: The program will be in operation on the days school is normally in session from dismissal until 6:00 p.m. CHILDREN MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN 6:00 P.M. It will not operate on half days, school holidays or during vacation. Any number of days per week can be chosen.

RATES: The daily rate is $20 per day for one child and $10 a day for each additional sibling. The discounted monthly rate for one chld is $320 when attending each day AfterCare is available in any given month..

You will receive a statement on the last day of each month’s session. The balance is due on the first day of the next session. You may also elect to pay weekly. Adjustments for absenteeism, school cancellations, etc., will be made at the end of each month.  Checks should be made payable to St. Dominic Elementary School Aftercare.

Please download the form below to register for the program. The program begins the first full week of school in September so the completed form can be returned on your child's first day of school.
