Clubs and Activities
Saint Dominic Elementary School is proud to offer a variety of after-school clubs and activities throughout the school year. These clubs provide extra-curricular activities in art, singing, cooking, and athletics.
Some clubs run for 8 weeks, while others run from October to May.
Currently, we offer the following:
The Choir/Glee Club is an extracurricular singing ensemble. The club sings contemporary and liturgical music that is both challenging and enjoyable.
The Little Chefs Club teaches the children about food preparation and basic cooking techniques.

The Art Club is an extracurricular club where students have the opportunity to work creatively on various projects.
The Communications Club has students film videos that are shared with the school on a weekly basis. They will lead their school in prayer, do fun skits, and share school news.
The following clubs are offered through the school, but use an outside vendor:
F.A.S.T. Athletics will offer a variety of sports and games each week. Each program will include warm-up activities, as well as instruction on the basic skills of each sport. This is a non-competitive co-ed class geared to keep children active in a fun and safe environment.
The Long Island Chess Nuts offers weekly lessons which are innovative, challenging, and fun! Lessons are followed by playing time with our coaches. It’s open to boys and girls in grades 1 to 6.
The Cub Scouts – open to 2nd -4th grade boys and girls
